International Conference on Disaster Management (ICDM 2020)

30 September 2020 – 1 October 2020

After conducting a successful first ICDM in 2018, it is our great pleasure to announce the 2nd ICEDM that will take place from Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia. The conference will be held from 30 September - 1 October 2020, and is organized on behalf of Civil Engineering Department of Andalas University.

The theme of the 2nd ICDM is Disaster Management 4.0 for the Better Life in Future. In this second ICDM we would like to provide the time and place where delegates from around the world can share excellent opportunities and new ideas and findings for both developed and developing countris to implement policies to build disaster resilient societies and to create new directions through integrating various fields of disaster mitigation and management.

The second ICDM will include keynote sessions and parallel sessions.

Initially this conference was planned to conducted in Universitas Andalas campus. However, due to Covid19 pandemic situation the conference is moving to online conference format. By participating in ICDM 2020 one can promote his/her research and professional work, learn and discuss the latest accomplishments, innovations and potential future directions.

We are very much looking forward to having the pleasure of welcoming you all in this conference.

ICDM2020 is organized and hosted by Universitas Andalas, Co-hosted by Universitas Mataram, Universiti Tenaga Nasional,  Universitas Dharma Andalas, Universitas Negeri Padang, Institut Teknologi Padang, Universitas Riau, Politeknik Negeri Padang, and Universitas Pertahanan. Supported by LPJK Sumbar,  Rumah Sakit Unand, Pusat Studi Bencana Unand, LPPM Unand, BNPB, IABI, AARGI, and Pertamina EP Asset 3 Subang Field.
